From tailoring to the shelves
Every pair of Jacob Cohën jeans is the result of a long process. While some jeans require only 5–6 machine steps, the creation of these trousers demands nearly 50 precise operations, over 100 hours of work, all under strict supervision. In the Jacob Cohën workshops there are those who design, cut, sew, and embroider: an endless series of indispensable steps. And then, there are those who wear them. Each Jacob Cohën garment embodies passion, dedication, attention, research, and love. Moreover, the workshops are the very same ones where the brand was born, all located in the Veneto region, whose soul is deeply tied to the perfection of Jacob Cohën products.
The devil in the details
Each Jacob Cohën carries its own DNA: the fabrics come from the world’s best denim suppliers, from Italy to Japan. Each material has unique characteristics, telling a story of tradition and innovation, sustainability and value. Everything begins with a sketch, a pattern that then evolves into an endless sequence of measurements, codes, and proportions. Once digitalized, the pattern is divided into different parts, projected by laser onto the fabric or denim. The cutting is done with the most modern machines: after scanning the patterns, a sharp blade slices through about 50 denim layers, eliminating any air bubbles.
