XACUS

The Origin of the Name
XACUS started as a family business, a story dating back to the 1950s. In 1956, Alberto Xoccato, a visionary from Veneto, founded XACUS. The name is an abbreviation: Xoccato Alberto Camicieria Uomo San Vito di Leguzzano, meaning “Alberto Xoccato’s men’s shirt house in San Vito di Leguzzano.” At that time, the company operated from an attic.

Visionaries of Veneto
The traditional textile manufacturers of Vicenza, through three generations, conducted extensive research into exclusive designs and fabrics. At every stage of production, they created XACUS with the utmost attention, a love for details, and above all, a passion for beauty and quality.

Looking to the Future
XACUS is a visionary in every sense of the word. It continuously experiments with natural yarns and fabrics, waste-free production processes, low-impact logistics, and sustainable business models. They advocate for a better world.

Comfortable Fabrics
A hallmark of XACUS is its high-luster, durable, stretch fabrics. The “stretch” is achieved by incorporating high-performance nylon and/or elastane, allowing the shirt to expand and return to its original shape. Nylon and elastane provide different levels of stretch: fabrics with lower cotton content feel lighter and shinier, while higher concentrations yield more durable shirts. Breathability remains unchanged despite these properties. Many shirts are also “wrinkle-free,” smoothing naturally with body heat as if ironed. These fabrics are easy to wash and have an incredible environmental impact: much of the nylon and elastane is recycled from ocean waste nets!
