Shirts

True Italian shirts are never sized using the international XS-XXL system. Instead, numbering usually starts at 37 and goes up to approximately 47 for standard sizes. Of course, this does not mean there aren’t shirts in smaller or larger sizes. This number indicates the internal collar circumference in centimeters.

Measure around your neck at its widest point (usually around the Adam’s apple) to find your size. Another option is to measure a shirt that fits well when laid flat. Stretch out the collar and measure the distance between the top button and the top buttonhole center — this is the actual shirt size.

Jeans and Trousers

Tramarossa and Jacob Cohën trousers follow the Anglo-Saxon, more precisely American jeans sizing. The waist size is measured above the hip bone, at the top of the trousers, in inches. If you measure in centimeters, divide the number by 2.54 to get your size! For convenience, here is a table:

The conf. size usually corresponds to the suit size. Most manufacturers, such as Pal Zileri, number trousers with this system, while jeans follow the above-mentioned jeans sizing. It may happen that the upper body requires a larger jacket or suit size than the trousers. Therefore, we recommend calculating your jeans size and using the table above to convert it to the conf. size!

The international XS-XXL system is typically used only for simple T-shirts in true Italian luxury fashion. Nevertheless, we have included these sizes for **reference purposes**.
